Sling Meets & Library Sessions.

As well as offering consultations & workshops, The Carrying Works library can be found at a number of sling meets across the area. More details can be found below.

We are always on the lookout for new, public venues where we can hold sessions, particularly those which offer free room hire as that enables our sessions to remain free of charge for all to attend!

If you would like any more information on any of our sessions, please pop over to the Facebook page or get in touch via one of the methods on the Contact Us page.

The Carrying Works at Home Library Drop-In

Sessions are evented on the library Facebook page.

This is a drop-in session in our home where you are able to simply pop in to collect or drop off a sling, come to get support with a sling you already own, have a play with some of the library slings & our family of demo dolls, generally get support & advice on all things slings! It’s a relaxed session with no appointments necessary, toys-a-plenty & even some cake if I get chance to do a bit of baking!

Aston Springs Sling Meet & Library Session

The Vintage Tack Room & Play Barn, Aston Springs Farm, Mansfield Road, Aston, S26 5PQ

This lovely, relaxed meet is a social meet as much as it is a sling library session. The Vintage Tack Room & Play Barn is a fab venue with a small soft play area for the children as well as a great offering of tasty pizza & fabulous cakes (I can vouch for it as I’ve tried plenty of them!). There is also outside space to play & there is the Aston Springs Farm Trail on site too so you can even make a day of it. They have kindly offered free soft play for one child per family (normally £3.50) & under 1’s are free.

I’ll be on hand with the library to offer support with all things slings as well as the usual hires & returns.

10am-12noon on the 3rd Friday of the month.

Sessions are evented on the library Facebook page & are occasionally subject to change.
